The proposed new M&S Foodhall at Lakelands Retail Park would secure 71 jobs, including safeguarding the existing roles, and bring a significantly enhanced M&S Food offer to one of Enniskillen's established retail destinations. The plans would deliver a modern, state-of-the-art Foodhall with over 6,600 product lines, securing the long-term future of M&S in Enniskillen and providing customers with a much-improved shopping experience.
We have submitted a planning application to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, who will decide whether the new M&S Foodhall can be delivered.

What we’re proposing
The proposed store would retain in Enniskillen the very best of M&S Food in an expanded, updated and more convenient location.
A brand-new, fresh market-style M&S Foodhall providing approximately 17,800 sq ft of modern retail space, almost three times the size of the existing Foodhall and offering more than 6,600 product lines.
Fresh bakery products, M&S Select Farm produce, the famous 360 Cheese Barge, and expanded Plant Kitchen and Eat Well ranges in a significantly enhanced shopping environment.
In-store Click & Collect for fashion, home and beauty orders, alongside Scan & Go, helping customers shop their way.
A modern, accessible shopping environment featuring the latest M&S store design, enhanced product ranges, improved technology and a state-of-the-art Foodhall experience.
Safeguarding 68 existing local jobs and supporting local food production through partnerships with over 100 Select Farms across County Fermanagh.
Convenient access and extensive free parking at Lakelands Retail Park, making everyday food shopping easier and more accessible for customers across County Fermanagh.

If approved, the new M&S Foodhall at Lakelands Retail Park would represent a significant long-term investment in Enniskillen, delivering a modern, state-of-the-art Foodhall and helping secure the future of M&S in Enniskillen.
The proposal would secure 71 jobs, including safeguarding the existing roles, supporting a total workforce of 71 colleagues at the new store.

Supporting Local Producers
Sourcing locally is really important to M&S, and Northern Ireland is one of our biggest supply nations with 11 direct suppliers and nearly 2,000 farms producing milk, eggs, beef and pork.
M&S works with over 100 Select Farms across County Fermanagh and supports more than 220 jobs within the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area through relationships with suppliers including Kettyle Irish Foods, Ready Egg Products and Western Brands in Lisnaskea

M&S also works with Neighbourly to help ensure surplus food reaches people who need it most. To date, the Enniskillen and Omagh stores have delivered more than 124,500 surplus meal donations, supporting 1,221 people and providing food with a value of more than £217,500.
